We work primarily within initial phases of software and system development up until a beta version. We help with Proto-type building and analysis and the production preparation, scaling and risk analysis. We have deep understanding and experience with live production systems and the risks that follow.

We use use few off-the-shelf technologies and primarily build customised solutions for proof-of-concept before handing over a solution for larger system integration.

Intelligent Automation

We use C++, Python and Bash for intensive intelligent process automation throughout our work flow. We are therefore capable of running a global 24-7 trading operation across multiple exchanges 2-3 people. Automation includes pre-trade, production, post-trade workflow analysis as well as production system monitoring, advanced self-recovery and a comprehensive three level alert system.

Data Science and Machine Learning

Professional experience successfully applying a large pool of statistical learning and data analysis algorithms to a long list of large real world problems within different industries from Wind Energy and Waste Water Management to Finance. From supervised classification (SVM, HMM, DNN) and regression (LMS, RR, LASSO) to reinforcement learning(POMDPs) and unsupervised clustering (MoG) models.

Cloud and Grid Computing

Experience in utilising computer cloud technology to its limit. From HT Condor to Google Cloud. Maintaining hundreds of thousands of calculation jobs with customized job management, resubmission, dead-node handling and other error handling features.

Data Compression and Big Data File Handling

Experience with different data compression technologies like hdf5 and bcolz for ultra-fast handling of massive amounts of data. Deep understanding of pros and cons of different technologies for different data types sand performance trade-offs.
